Gentle, safe, and effective spinal adjustments remove misalignments which can cause a multitude of symptoms such as:

• Upper, middle, and lower back pain
• Neck and shoulder pain
• Nerve pain, Sciatica
• Tension and migraine headaches
• Numbness and tingling in the arms or legs

Spinal misalignments (or "subluxations") can cause irritation or pressure to the spinal nerve roots which exit the spinal column at the level of the misalignment. For instance, the brain sends and receives messages from the stomach via the sixth thoracic nerve root. If this nerve root is irritated or impinged due to a subluxation (spinal misalignment), stomach problems such as heartburn or indigestion can occur.

Often, the pain is the last symptom to appear when a subluxation is present. Several things can happen between the onset of the misalignment and the point when the pain occurs - from loss of range of motion to a more serious loss of nerve supply to the organ innervated by the spinal nerve, possibly resulting in nerve damage.

Regular chiropractic care can also boost the immune system which has often been called the "end organ" of the nervous system. A healthy immune system, though not tangible, is the result of the other body systems functioning properly.
